Abbey is fantastic to work with and our corgi pup just ADORES her! We’ve purchased a couple of training packages from her and love that she comes to the house and also has some great spots for public manners / distraction training as well. Our little guy has shown so much improvement in his recall, threshold manners, and basic obedience since we started with her. We highly recommend Abbey every chance we get!

We cannot say enough incredible things about Abbey and the impact she’s had on our Goldendoodle, Honey. We started working with Abbey when Honey was just a young puppy and continued training with her for about a year—and it was one of the best decisions we’ve made as dog owners. I still reach out when I have questions.

Abbey is not only extremely knowledgeable, but she’s also patient, consistent, and truly gifted in what she does. She took the time to train not just Honey, but our whole family, giving us the tools and confidence to reinforce everything at home. One thing that meant so much to us is how intentionally she included our kids in the process. She taught them how to properly interact with, guide, and respect Honey, which made such a difference in building a safe, positive relationship between them.

Because of her guidance, Honey is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, has great manners, and is incredibly well-behaved around people—especially kids.

We also appreciated Abbey’s balanced and practical approach. Honey learned boundaries, self-control, and obedience in a way that still allowed her sweet, playful personality to shine. Abbey was always responsive, encouraging, and genuinely cared about Honey’s progress and our experience as a family.

Even now, we regularly get compliments on how well-trained Honey is—and we owe so much of that to Abbey. If you’re looking for a trainer who is professional, effective, and truly invested in your dog and your family, Abbey is absolutely the one to go with.

We started working with Abbey upon recommendation of our breeder right when we brought our puppy home at nine weeks old. This was the best decision we ever made! Not only was Abbey a lifesaver and helping us manage the training of a very young puppy, which was the first time experience for us…but we also have three small children in the home which added an additional challenge to training. With small children of her own, Abbey gets it! She was great with our pup AND our kids in helping our family best adjust and keep our dog learning amidst lots of distractions in the home.

We have a naturally reared Golden, and it was a huge asset to find a trainer who would work with our dog. Abbey is SO resourceful, knowledgeable, supportive, generous and flexible with her time, reliable, (and easily our puppy’s favorite person when she arrives with treats)! Within just a couple weeks, our pup learned sit, stay, front yard boundaries, easy walking on the leash, leave-it, and is much better now at recall. We were amazed each and every week how much our dog learned!

As first-time puppy owners with three active young children, I can tell you that we are happy and thriving as a result of Abbey‘s training. We will definitely be returning for some more specialized skills in the future and would highly recommend Abbey to any of our friends with dogs at any age!

Abbey does an amazing job! Loved it so much we did it twice just because we loved the work and progress we saw with her. I put my two pointers in her training and she did such a good job at giving them both the time and training they needed. She made sure to work on them as individuals as well. My dogs loveee her!! Always were so excited to see her. We use the techniques that she had taught us on a day to day basis!! It was the best thing we could have done for our dogs. Highly recommend her!!

Some people think we were crazy for adding a puppy to our mix with a 2 and 4 year old but Abby has given my pup and I confidence to get through this transition. She is so incredible with our pup and has taught both of us so much. I couldn’t be more happy with her training expertise and knowledge she’s shared with us.

We absolutely love our dog trainer, Abbey with AK Kennel! She comes to our house, which makes training so convenient and tailored to our real-life environment. She’s incredibly flexible and always willing to adjust sessions based on whatever new challenges pop up. Since working with her, my dog has learned so much and made huge progress. I'm glad I found Abbey to help us with my heeler mix with solo training sessions. We started out with learning basic commands, recall touch ups, leash manners and other stuff. She's the right trainer you need to help guide you and your dog in the right direction. I am looking forward to continuing going to Abbey with group classes this year as well.

We have been taking both our dogs to Abbey for the last six weeks. One is working on leash training, while the other is working on basic obedience. We have seen tons of growth in both dogs! She does a great job answering questions and being available. We are looking forward to doing off-leash training with her in the spring. I found Abbey on Instagram and I'm so happy I did! She responded right away, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely comfortable moving forward.

We decided to have in house training for our little monster girl because it was much more convenient and you couldn't beat the price. Plus most issues were in home so it made more sense.

She really helped us in learning many techniques that work, but we had to do the work! We had to keep up with the things she taught us and stay consistent. Let me say its so worth it!

Abbey was amazing! We are so grateful for the time she took with training our two doggos. It has made such a difference in their behavior as well as making our lives a bit easier due to them behaving so much better.
